Coco Supermarket has fresh chocolate banana bread for 5000 IDR by the slice or cheaper if you buy the whole thing.

Head to the markets before 8am to get CHEAP local breakfasts, fruits and veggies.

If you’re craving a salad head to Taksu at lunch for a salad buffet for 55,000 IDR + 18% tax.

If I order a big curry sometimes I stretch it into two meals by ordering a second portion of rice for cheap then take half away for dinner later.

If you want fresh juices head straight for Warung Don Biu they do nice fruit juices for 10,000 IDR where all others charge minimum 20,000 IDR.

Shop around and see what you can get for your money. Stay away from places with small plates or high taxes like Kafe and Clear cafe.
